God is a speaking, writing, preaching God--making Himself known through His very own words: words by which He creates and sustains the universe, words by which He creates faith to redeem sinners and sustains faith in redeemed sinners while fitting them for glory. He uses His Words to give us truths about Himself in which to rest--truths that tell us what He is like and what He has done (His character and work).
